Hello everyone, it’s April and I will show you something different in my blogs. If you read my previous April, I released Free WordPress Themes MyApril, a 2 columns and 770px wide Wordpress Theme. I use unique pink colors, nice icon interface and many more.

This April I created new Theme again but it still only for my personal usage. The new theme page is redesigned and rating features is added to let user know the most favorites themes . Back to MyApril, in the end 2007 I made a decision to release some updates of MyApril and the modified theme is named MyApril Reloaded. MyApril Reloaded has 3 columns and more wider layout along with unique colors.

As we all know, JAUHARI.net is using Padangan. Padangan get some respect from bloggers and many of them make customs of my Padangan. I really happy with it. I am not bored with my Padangan. The reason why I switch to April is that I need to refresh my style and make something new on this blogs. And you know that? April is my day, my birthday I hope all of you enjoy my new face and any feedback are always welcome.

The new my April will be released when the time is come. So just wait and keep visiting JAUHARI.net.

The latest version and currently I used for my Blogging Engine, WordPress was released the last version 2.3, Let’s began download and upgrade our system.

On version 2.3 the release is named for the great tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon.

Besides the regular style of posting, WordPress also supports different ways of doing this job. For example, you can make posts by mailing to a specific account. This is possible if you set up an email account and make it available to WordPress. For posting by email, let us follow these steps.

Click on the Options menu and then Writing from the sub-menu.

At the bottom of this page, there is a section titled Writing by e-mail. You have to configure some settings before you can start posting by email.

In this section, you have to provide the Mail server, Login name (usually, that is your full email address), and the Password. Finally, select the category to which these posts should go. That’s it, you are done!

Today I was upgraded to WordPress 2.1 “Ella” and in the some times I decide to re-design my blog, and I call this not-yet completed themes “Thin-Line” why I choose this name, may be some day I will explain

Thanks for WordPrees Developer that give nicely engine. For a while I still play arround in this theme and fix it, when this one completed I hope I can publicize it.

Also I change my Blog Title, from 2.0 to 2.1

I used plugin Yahoo/MSN Style Smileys and this plugins make my admin error, everytime I try to update my post or approve comment make error 404. So I disable for a while, waiting until new version released.

Yes, I was successfully update my Blog Engine (of course WordPress always ) to the Latest version 2.0.5 (Ronan), why update?

After read this, I go to WordPress.org to download new version, than I just follow this instructions

Upgrade 2.0.3 to 2.0.4

This is a security upgrade. Information can be found in the WordPress Dev Blog 2.0.4 Announcement (http://wordpress.org/development/2006/07/wordpress-204/).

As with all WordPress upgrades, the contents of your /wp-content/ folder should remain intact and unchanged.

1. Delete /wp-admin/ folder.
2. Delete /wp-includes/ folder. Note: You must backup /wp-includes/languages/ directory if exists.
3. WordPress 2.0.4 contains an updated default theme. If you would like the updated theme, delete the /wp-content/themes/default folder. Remember to make a backup of your customisations first!
4. Delete all the wordpress files in the root directory where the root index.php file is found. DO NOT DELETE wp-config.php (nor any files you may have added yourself: robots.txt, .htaccess, favicon.ico).
5. Download and extract the new version.
6. Upload it to the appropriate folders such as /wp-admin/, /wp-includes/, and if you deleted your Default theme, /wp-content/themes/default/.
7. Upload all the files in the root directory.
8. If existed, restore /wp-includes/languages/ directory
9. Login as admin into your site - you will not be prompted to click on the link to upgrade your database as there were no changes to the database scheme between 2.0.3 and 2.0.4.

Today is my DAY, and my BLOG Day, and my Wordpress day, coz today I wast update my Blog Engine with simple step (for me, I hope for ou to)

And this my Step by Step

1. Backup You Old File and you SQL Data
2. Download Wordpress 2.03
3. Extract you Wordress on you local HD.
4. Select wp-includes and wp-admin and zip ora tar it.
5. Upload to you webserver.
6. Before extract it, please rename you wp-admin and wp-includes folder and extract that file you was upload
7. After that go to to you blog admin and you’ll get notice to update you SQL
8. have a nice day and *blink blink* you run the latest engine (Wordpress 2.03)

I am forget some *note. You need also update this file on you root directory of you blogs engine (I got this info from here)
