Jum’at ini dapat ilmu baru lagi. Karena inginnya nambahi Bandwidth Limiter di mesin FreeBSDgwe. Dan melaui studi jarak jauh dengan Joko Kru UPI, dapat juga petunjuk bagaimana cara Compile Kernel agar support Bandwidth Limiter. Metode yang dipake kurang lebih seperti ini
Langkah Pertama
cd /sys/i386/conf
trus disitu ada file GENERIC
copy GENERIC ke misal “uddyn”
cp GENERIC uddyn
trus di edit uddyn
tambahkan 2 options berikut ini
options IPFIREWALL
options DUMMYNET
trus di compile
config uddyn
cd ../../compile/uddyn/
make depend && make && make install
