Microsoft is currently releasing about 20,000 device drivers that are used to code the Linux community. This code includes three kinds of Linux device drivers that have been previously provided to the Linux community. Microsoft says that this code will be available in the Linux community and designed to improve performance when operating system is virtualized Linux on Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V and Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V. Microsoft provides the code to the Linux community by using the GPLv2 license, which license is the choice of some of the Linux community who are already using it for a long time. This code makes Linux drivers can work well like the Windows virtual machine that can run on Hyper-V. With this partnership will no longer expected difficulties faced by the two communities, be it Microsoft or Linux.
