I have used PocketMoney Apps for iPhone from January 2011. Before I use this apps, I was use Expenditure that have more simple interface and feature. For better management I choose to use PocketMoney.
And today for some reason, I decide to totally restores my iPhone 4 and didn’t restore my old data. So, I was trying to find my others problem. I need to back up and restore my PocketMoney Apps data. So the best solution is using Wi-Fi Mode and install SyncDocs. (this applications available for Windows and Mac OS X) download this apps on this page OS X download from SourceForge, Windows download from SourceForge
Let’s Get started Backup and Restore PocketMoney Apps Data
- Launch SyncDocs if it is not already running.
- From within PocketMoney, go to the Accounts and tap on the arrow icon in the lower right corner.
- Select “Backup to desktop…”
- Tap on the name that appears the list that matches the name you entered as the Bonjour Name when installing SyncDocs.
- Now backup process will be started and you can wait it until it completed.
That completes the backup procedure. You can check you backup on your SyncDocs/Download/PocketMoney folder. All your PocketMoney data has been transferred on this folder.
Restore your Backup data into PocketMoney Apps
- Launch SyncDocs if it is not already running.
- Locate the three files created from a previous backup and drag them into the SyncDocs window.
com.catamount.pocketmoney.plist and PocketMoneyDB.sql - From within PocketMoney, go to the Accounts and tap on the arrow icon in the lower left corner.
- Select “Restore from backup…”
- Tap on the name that appears the list that matches the name you entered as the Bonjour Name when installing SyncDocs.
- Tap Quit and relaunch PocketMoney.
That is it, now you have successfully Backup and Restore on your PocketMoney Apps on iPhone, this method you’ll need Wi-Fi enabled both on you Mac/Windows and your iPhone.
