BlackBerry Messenger is currently known as the messenger service that comes with video calling. But in the future, it is likely that this application will be equipped with features such as video calling available on Google Hangout or Skype is owned by Microsoft.
The possibility of the existence of the video calling feature in this application is already confirmed by the Senior Director of Business Development BlackBerry, David Proulx. He said that his company is considering the addition of new features such as VoIP services. But he did not say when this feature will be officially present to the users of the facility.
Step addition of features that VoIP is an effort to be monetize BlackBerry mobile services. But Proulx revealed that VoIP service is not the only monetization solutions that are being considered by the Canadian company.
